In 2023, the third and final Guardians of the Galaxy film stars Chriss Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Zoë Saldana, and others.

Fans of Marvel, strap in: the Guardians of the Galaxy are about to make another galactic rescue.

However, in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the gang of outcast heroes appears a little different than in previous films. Despite the addition of new members like Mantis (Pom Klementieff) and Nebula (Karen Gillian), the Guardians are still reeling from the death of Gamora (played by Zo Saldana) in Avengers: Infinity War (2018).

Filming for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 completed up in May 2022, and director James Gunn has since revealed that it will be the series’ final installment after 8 years (Vol. 1 debuted in 2014). “I have so much respect and admiration for everyone involved in this incredible production. I count myself among the fortunate to have had them as travelling companions for nearly a decade “He posted it on Instagram.

Gunn may be heartbroken to leave the Guardians, but at least one of his teammates is excited for a new adventure. Actor Dave Bautista, who plays Drax, said it was challenging to get the part over on camera. “The debt I owe to Drax is immense. Simply put, I adore him. It’s over, and that’s a relief. It wasn’t always a bed of roses, “This is what he told GQ Hype during an interview. “It was challenging to assume that persona. I felt like a wreck as I struggled through applying my makeup.”

The ex-wrestler continued, “And I just don’t know if I want Drax to be my legacy — it’s a ridiculous act, and I want to do more tragic stuff.”

Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), according to the official Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 synopsis, is “still hurting over the loss of Gamora” (which occurred in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War). The catch is that he “must unite his crew around him to protect one of their own while also defending the cosmos. A mission that, if failed, could spell the end of the Guardians as we know them.”

The first official teaser for the film was released in December 2022, teasing not only character flashbacks, but also combat and the traditional humorous banter amongst the Guardians.

However, beyond that, precise plot information will not be revealed to fans until the film’s official release date, which is exactly how Marvel likes it. Saldana said that Marvel’s stringent rules to avoid leaks might make collaboration challenging at times. She said that sometimes she just gets scripts a few hours before shooting begins.

In an interview for the digital Winter 2022 issue of InStyle, she admitted, “That may be unpleasant occasionally.” “That’s not awesome since it necessitates memorization, prep work, and background reading. To top it all off, I have a tendency to be a bit too hard on myself.”

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 WAS DIRECTED BY WHOM?

Source: Den of Geek

The third installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy film series was directed by James Gunn. The first two films in the trilogy were also directed by him.

For the first time in an interview with Deadline’s Hero Nation podcast in January 2022, Gunn acknowledged the film’s “bigness.”

“It’s so, so large and gloomy and different from what people might be expecting it to be,” he remarked.

The release date for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set on May 5 of that year, 2023.

As of right now, Disney+ subscribers may see the first two films in the series, as well as the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.

After its theatrical release, Vol. 3 will almost probably be available on Disney+ to stream. Assuming Marvel’s Disney+ releases follow their historical trend, we can anticipate the film’s streaming debut on the service sometime between May 5 and June 3, 2023.

MAIN VILLAIN

The third film in the Guardians of the Galaxy series will conclude the story of Peter Quill and his motley crew of outcasts, but it will pit them against a new, psychotic Marvel Cinematic Universe monster.

While most of the talk about Vol. 3 has focused on the Guardians’ final journey, the High Evolutionary (played by Peacemaker’s Chuduwuki Iwuji), the volume’s major antagonist, has been gaining more and more attention as of late.

The actor has said that he gave his High Evolutionary a “Shakespearean touch” while still maintaining his “narcissistic” and “sociopathic” traits in the Guardians franchise.

James Gunn, director of Vol. 3, has built up anticipation for the actor’s return by saying that his performance is “really combustible.”

Previously unseen details about the High Evolutionary’s appearance have emerged, and they are horrifying.

HIGH EVOLUTIONARY MCU REVEALED

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’s first teaser introduced Chukwudi Iwuji as the High Evolutionary, the threequel’s psychotic and deadly new adversary.

WILL THE HIGH EVOLUTIONARY MURDER GUARDIANS?

Even though the High Evolutionary didn’t have any lines in the first Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 teaser, what we saw of him was more than enough to convince us that he’s going to be a major obstacle for the heroes.

James Gunn has teased the “explosive” performance of villain actor Chuduwuki Iwuji, but the High Evolutionary’s motivations for attacking the Guardians remain a mystery.

It’s possible that the enemy saw Rocket’s heroic actions against Thanos and was inspired to remove him from the Guardians. Then, Peter Quill and the rest of the team will come to his rescue, freeing him from the High Evolutionary’s grasp and setting the stage for an exciting confrontation.

Since Gunn has established that the current Guardians team is disbanding, it’s likely that the High Evolutionary will end up killing Rocket or another member of the team.

The High Evolutionary’s description as a psychotic villain will be realised in the third film if he ends up killing some of the Guardians.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3: FINAL FILM?

James Gunn has built a sense of finality around the third film ever since it was announced. It’s not just that this is his last movie; he’s said more than once that we won’t be seeing “this form” of the Guardians again. In addition, Dave Bautista has said that this will be his last feature appearance as Drax the Destroyer.

This, of course, has other possible interpretations. It’s possible that several of the team’s most important members may perish, that they will resign in secret, or that a brand new team will be assembled. Whatever the case may be, it appears that the plot arc established in the first two films and the two films in which they appeared as part of the Avengers has reached its final end. A cathartic and emotionally satisfying conclusion to one of Marvel’s biggest success stories, if the trailer is any clue.
